Andrew Law

Andrew Law was a minister from Connecticut during the Revolutionary War who wrote the music to the song "Bunker Hill."

Born in Milford, Connecticut, Andrew Law is known as a hymn writer as well as one of the first Americans to write about music. Some of his publications include Select Harmony (1778), Collection of Best Tunes and Anthems (1779), and Essays on Music (1814).
